2025年8月に富山県滑川市のアーティスト・イン・レジデンスに参加した、マルチメディア作曲家、サウンドアーティスト、エレクトロアコースティック即興演奏家のハ・トゥイ・ハンさんが、コートヤードHIROOでスペシャルライブ「First time in Japan」を開催します。
今回が初来日となる彼女にとって、このライブは日本での貴重な初公演です。
滑川AIRでの展示では、多様なメディアや空間演出を通して、ベトナムの伝統芸能「トゥオン」の世界を表現し、多くの鑑賞者を魅了しました。独自の世界観と、観客を引き込む力を持つ彼女の演奏が、どのような感動をもたらすのか、期待が高まります。
同日開催する、モチコミやARTIST BOOKSHELFと併せて、ぜひこの特別な機会にご来場ください。
Ha Thuy Hang, a multimedia composer, sound artist, and electro-acoustic improviser who participated in the artist-in-residence program in Namerikawa-shi, Toyama Prefecture in August 2025, is now holding a special live performance titled “First time in Japan” at Courtyard HIROO.
This will be a rare and valuable opportunity as it is her first visit to Japan and her very first performance here.
At the Namerikawa AIR exhibition, she drew audiences into the world of “Tuong,” a traditional Vietnamese performing art, through various media and spatial installations. We are excited to see what kind of performance she will deliver, given her unique ability to create a distinctive worldview and captivate her audience.

ハ・トゥイ・ハンは、ハノイを拠点に活動するマルチメディア作曲家、サウンドアーティスト、エレクトロアコースティック即興演奏家です。彼女の作品は、先住民文化と社会の変化との相関関係を探求することが多く、特にベトナムの伝統音楽の現代性に関心を持っています。音楽、演劇、パフォーマンス、オーディオ・ビデオインスタレーション、実験映画など、さまざまな芸術形式を通じて伝統的な素材を探求し、創造しています。
2018年、彼女は、伝統文化と芸術の保存・発展に関心を持つ若者を対象としたプロジェクト「The Future of Tradition」を立ち上げました。このプロジェクトは、Famlab – ブリティッシュ・カウンシルによる助成を受けています。2019年と2020年には、「ハノイ・グレープバイン（ベトナムの芸術界の重要かつ活発な推進者）」の権威ある賞である「アーティスト・オブ・ザ・イヤー」を受賞しました。2022年には、オランダの権威あるプリンス・クラウス・シード・アワードを受賞し、彼女の作品はベトナム、インドネシア、韓国、イタリア、ドイツ、チェコ共和国などで展示されています。

Ha Thuy Hang is a multi-media composer, sound artist, and electro-acoustic improviser based in Hanoi, Vietnam. Her works often explore the correlation between indigenous cultures and social change. She is particularly interested in the contemporary nature of traditional Vietnamese music, always exploring, creating from traditional materials through artistic practice in different forms such as music, theater, performance, audio-video installation, experimental film…
In 2018, she founded The Future of Tradition, a project aimed at young people who are interested in the preservation and development of traditional culture and arts – the project sponsored by Famlab – British Council. In 2019 and 2020, Ha Thuy Hang was Artist of the Year (The prestigious award of Hanoi Grapevine – an important and active promoter of art in Vietnam). In 2022, she received the prestigious Prince Claus Seed Awards (Netherlands), her works have been shown in Vietnam, Indonesia, South Korea, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, and others.
